As we left Home Room, I saw Andrew and Jacob come up to me to talk.
"So what is that device you had in your hands during class?" Jacob asked. "Some kind of new Smart Phone? Can it play games?"
Oh great, they saw the remote, but it seems like they haven't noticed what it is. Should I tell them the truth  of what it is or make up some lie?
"What? This? Umm, it's complicated. I'll, tell you at Lunch Break, I don't have time now, I'm late for class."
"Alright, we'll talk to you then" said Andrew, as he and Jacob left on their separate ways for their next class.
On my way to my English Class, I was suddenly startled when I was grabbed from behind by somebody. Startled, I noticed it wasn't really a grab, it was more of a hug, and that the arms were furry. So was a decidedly female chest that was now pressed against my back. Soon a voice I recognized cried out "Oh Hi "Jack"  I had a feeling what was going on now. I turned my head to confirm it.
"What the? Lara, what are you doing here?" I said to the bare, pink haired Rabbit girl who was still hugging my back.  
"I go to school here silly." she replied, finally letting me go.
"Oh, alright then. Do you leap out and hug everyone you recognize at school?" I asked.
"Oh, no, just people as nice as you. Besides, I thought it would be funny considering how we first met."
"Yeah, I guess it was" I said in reply. "So how have you been since Saturday" I asked.
"It's been pretty good. Being a Rabbit-girl is very interesting. So far I'm liking it quite a lot. Me and Robert have really been getting used to our new bodies, in more ways then one if you know what I mean?" she said, winking at me. I just rolled my eyes, shook my head slightly and laughed a little under my breath in response.
"So anyway, how are things going with the people you know? Are people treating you different now that you two are part rabbit?" I asked her.
"No, things are fine. People seem to treat me normally. Like I'm not that unique and nothing they've ever seen before. Some people think I'm a little weird is seems, but no one has freaked out upon seeing me, or even reacted to me being naked. It's kind of odd but a relief." she said.
"Oh, well, that's great." I said "Well if you have something else to say to me, let me know. I want to make sure you're okay with your new life and form, okay?"
"Okay" she nodded.
"Okay, well right now I got to class. I'll see you later."
"Yeah, maybe we'll hang out later" said Lara in reply as we parted ways and she stepped into her own class room.
I barely made it into English class when the next bell rang signalling class had begun.
Some people I knew and recognized like Lynn, Jacob and even Julia were in this class with me. I didn't want to be distracted, so I just turned to working on completing one of my book reports. I had just barely finished the book last Friday, but I was way behind on the written part of the assignment. Fortunately my new smarts really seemed to help kick in. I could grasp things I couldn't before, and sped through the written work faster then I ever had. I was so far behind though, even at my accelerated pace, it took the whole period to finish.
The the Bell rang again and it was Break. I got up and headed to the library with Lynn. I wasn't big on outdoor spots, even though I had the build now, it was common for me and Lynn to hit the library to just read. Going outside was never mandatory at this school. Lynn followed beside me as we headed to the Library. As we were about to turn a corner, I was grabbed by an arm, and pulled aside. I was half-expecting it to be Lara pulling another prank, but there I found myself face to face with the 3 people at school I dreaded to see myself confronted by the most. And they weren't Bullies. It was Julia, Jessica and Delilah, the 3 girls I had seen dumping the remote control in the trash bin on Friday after school.
Julia, the tall leader with black hair, was wearing a tight blue tank top with short jean shorts, Delilah, the short and meek strawberry blonde was wearing a white T-shirt over a black mini-skirt, and Jessica, the taller brunette was wearing her hair in pigtails tied by black ribbons, with a red tank top and a tight black mini-skirt.   
They didn't seem that angry, but neither were they that happy looking.
Lynn rushed around to corner to join me, concerned over what was happening.
"Umm, hello" I said sheepishly.
"Well hello to you. What's your name" said Julia.
"Jack" I answered. "And this is Lynn"
"Well Jack, it's nice to meet you. My name is Julia. This is Jessica" she said, gesturing with her face to the brunette on her left, "And this is Delilah" she said, gesturing to the shorter blonde on her right.
"Umm, hi, Nice yo meet you" I said.
"Alright, now that introductions are out of the way Jack, I'm just going to come out and ask. Do you know why we're here and why we want to talk to you? And don't play dumb." Julia said.
I took a deep breath and let it out in a big sigh. "Yeah I do, I admit it. You're the ones who used to own the Remote Control before you threw it out and I found it. I was there when you threw it out. I heard you talking about it, and that's why I had to see about it and see if it worked."
"Well glad that's out of the way" said Jessica.
"Are you going to take this away from me? Are you going to make me throw it out?" I said.
"Not necessarily" said Julia.
"So what do you want to see us about then?" Lynn asked.
"Well, we're really just checking on you and how you use the Remote. It holds a lot of power over people, and we want to make sure it's not being abused and that you're not doing anything with it you'll later regret." Delilah said.
"He's not abusing it, at least  not in my opinion. I've watched him use it most of the time he's had it, and I've seen him, he tries to make sure he's not hurting anyone with it. He only ever uses it to make people happy, to make people's life better. At least certainly not worse." said Lynn in my Defence.
"Yeah, I heard your speech about felling guilty about abusing the device. So I made sure I would never do anything bad with it myself." I said
"He even undid something one of you must of done yourselves. We found a poor mindless rabbit-girl who was wandering aimlessly looking for her master, so he gave her her free will back." Lynn piped in again.
"Oh, her, right, Lara, oops." said Delilah in an regretful manner, her little cheeks glowing red with embarrassment.  
"What oops?" said Julia.
"I knew I forgot something, but my life before you became my mistress is a bit of a haze. I had made this one girl my slave, and then you got the remote and I forgot about her until just now." confessed Delilah.
"Oiy, I didn't know you used that thing on anyone other then Julia, Ms. Sullivan and me" said Jessica in reply.
"Well, good thing Jack here was there to clean up your mess." Julia said.
"I'm sorry" Delilah said meekly.
"It's alright babe, it was the old you who did it, and it was my fault for not keeping track of what other messes that old self might have done." Julia said with a glowing smile on her face. "Besides, I made my own share of messes, so I can't complain too much."
"Look Jack, bottom line is we want to make sure you're using that thing responsibly. It's just bitter for everyone involved if you don't." Jessica.
"Okay, I'll make sure." I replied.
"Okay then. Now don't take this like we're being watch dogs, but we're going to check up on you and make sure you're not doing anything with it you'll regret." Julia said. "Think of us as your conscience. I know we don't exactly have the best credentials, but we'll do our best to keep you on the right track." Julia said.
"Yeah, okay, if that's what you want, feel free to chime in, I'll take your advice when I can get it" I replied.
"Alright, that's all we have to lecture you on then." Julia said.
"Okay that's good, we'll be on our way then" I said, relieved that it was all over.
"Hey, want to hang out the rest of Break?" Lynn asked.
"What, us, with you?" Julia asked.
"Yeah, you want to hang out? No reason we can't get to know each other, maybe become friends? If you're our friends, then it should be easy to keep an eye on us. Besides, it would be easier to listen to our advice if you were our friend, and you'd have more discretion when letting us know when we've gone too far" Lynn said.
"Oh, well, that sounds like it makes sense." Julia stated.
"Besides, just because they have the remote isn't a reason they can't be our friends" said Delilah.
"Okay, let's go and talk about stuff then" I said.
But it was too late, the bell rang, and Break was over.
"Drat, we spent to much time talking. I got to get to Class, I guess at lunch then? I'm sure you can find us there.
"Alright, sounds like a plan, we'll see you there."
